GROW

GROW is a not-for-profit community-based organisation that has helped thousands of Australians with their recovery from mental ill-health through a unique program of mutual support and personal development.  Established in Sydney in 1957, the founders were drawn together by their first-hand experience of mental ill-health.  The wisdom they gained in helping each other overcome life’s challenges and move toward recovery, was carefully recorded and this forms the basis of the Grow Program.

The Grow Program is based on a 12-step program of personal growth, mutual help and support that draws on many principles for all areas of help.  At each meeting, members share how they came to GROW and how they’re exploring self-improvement as they work on their personal recovery.  Recovery isn’t a straight road and that’s where the support of others can help. Everyone in the group has opportunities to share their experiences of coping with mental ill-health.

Joining a GROW group is free and confidential – you don’t need to have a referral or a doctor’s diagnosis.  You can even choose to remain anonymous and bring a support person with you.  Groups are open to all adults over 18 years old.

Radiance Network South West

The Radiance Network South West was launched in November 2017 in response to community demand – recognition that there was not enough awareness, support, and services for families in the South West region, who are struggling in the perinatal period. Radiance is a product of partnership and collaboration, with a vision to provide a platform to bring services together to support, build resilience, and enhance the emotional wellbeing of parents to strengthen family relationships. Radiance also aims to raise awareness around perinatal anxiety, depression and adjustment disorders and facilitate better pathways to care.

The Radiance Network has created three tiers in our mission to support parents:
